This website is a required project for a Social Studies Methods course for the University of Montana, College of Education. The purpose of this project is to gain a cultural understanding of a Native American Indian tribe of interest, while also learning the components of building a website. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the United Confederation of Taíno People, the National Congress of American Indians, or any other such Indigenous or Taíno organization. Please see reference page for complete list of sources that assisted me in gathering information for this educational site.
